Colonial Rooms with River Views
The rooms at Buhala Lodge are in a colonial-style thatched roof building. All rooms have air conditioning and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Suites are separate and include a private outdoor sitting area with views of Kruger National Park and the Crocodile River. Each room has an en suite bathroom with a free-standing shower.
Three-Course Dinner and Veranda Meals
Breakfast is served every morning. The restaurant and bar are in the main building. Meals are offered in the dining room or on the veranda. Dinner is a three-course meal that changes daily. Dietary requirements can be accommodated if arranged in advance.
Spa, Pool and Safari
The open deck spa overlooks Kruger Park and the river. Guests can book a massage or choose from other treatments for a fee. The large outdoor pool has a view of the river. Guests can book guided safaris (surcharge) with a qualified guide. The lodge also arranges early morning walks, night drives, and golf at Leopard Creek Country Club (15 km away).
On Crocodile River, Near Kruger Gate
Buhala Lodge sits on the southern banks of the Crocodile River, directly bordering Kruger National Park. The Malelane Gate into Kruger is about a 15-minute drive. Nelspruit Airport is 65 km away. Airport transfers can be arranged for a surcharge. Guests often spot elephants, hippos, and buffalo from the lodge deck.
Airport Shuttle and Guided Tours
The lodge provides airport shuttle service (surcharge), daily housekeeping, and laundry. Meeting and banquet facilities are available. Free WiFi and free parking are included. The staff can arrange guided game drives, walking tours, and transfers. A 24-hour security and CCTV ensure safety.
