The Lofts @ Maple Square offers Deluxe Studios and Luxury Queen Rooms. Each room includes a flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and a fully equipped kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Deluxe Studios feature electric blankets and a welcome tray with rusks, biscuits, and chocolates. Private bathrooms have showers (with low water pressure noted by some guests). Rooms are modern and spacious, but thin walls and noise from the main road (Naledi Drive) are common complaints.
Dining Options
Breakfast is served at Bankers Bar and Grill, a 2-minute walk around the corner. The breakfast is generous, but service can be slow during peak hours. There is no on-site restaurant; instead, multiple dining options are within a minute's walk along the main road, including local eateries and shops.
Leisure and Entertainment
The hotel does not have a spa, gym, or pool. Guests can walk to the Dullstroom Bird of Prey & Rehabilitation Centre (2.8 km) or drive to the Dullstroom Nature Reserve, Verloren Valei Nature Reserve, and Belfast State Forest. The property offers free WiFi and daily cleaning but no TV channels beyond basic connectivity; some guests used their phones for streaming.
Location and Transport
The Lofts @ Maple Square is at 1.5 km from Dullstroom Railway Station and 180 km from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. It sits on the main road, making it easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and the town center. The Bergendal Monument is 42 km away. Free parking is available at the back, but the back gate was sometimes locked, requiring guests to carry luggage around the front.
