Victorian-Style Rooms

De Ark Guest House is a colonial-style guest house with Victorian decor and period furnishings. It is one of the oldest buildings in Lydenburg. All rooms have private entrances and en-suite bathrooms. Rooms include a TV with satellite channels, tea and coffee maker, free toiletries, and a hairdryer. Some rooms overlook the pool or garden. Self-catering options are available for groups and families. The guest house also offers bed and breakfast packages.

Bar & Breakfast

An on-site bar serves drinks and snacks. The restaurant offers special diet menus and kids' meals. Breakfast is served in the dining room; packed lunches can be arranged on request. Coffee is available at the coffee house on site. BBQ facilities are provided in the garden. For dinner, staff can recommend nearby restaurants such as Crust Café.

Pool & Gardens

The outdoor swimming pool is open all year and includes a shallow end, pool toys, and sun loungers. Pool towels are provided. The garden has an outdoor fireplace, sun terrace, and outdoor furniture. Guests can play billiards and use the shared lounge/TV area. Live sport events are broadcast at the property. A golf course is nearby. Children have access to outdoor play equipment and board games.

Near Kruger Park

The guest house is 850 metres from Lydenburg town centre, 500 metres from Dr Visser Medical Doctor, and 2.4 km from Jocks Country Stalls. Phabeni Gate entrance to Kruger National Park is 112 km away (about 90 minutes by car). Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport is 73 km from the property. Nearby attractions include Blyde River Canyon, God's Window viewpoint, and Mac-Mac Pools National Monument.
