Simbavati Hilltop Lodge - Premium Stays in Timbavati Game Reserve

The lodge offers 10 luxury tented suites on stilts, each with a king-size bed, air conditioning, electric blanket, minibar with complimentary drinks, and a private deck overlooking the dam. Rooms feature an outdoor shower, indoor bathtub, and some include a private plunge pool. Wildlife like hippos, elephants, and baboons are visible from the room. Room 1 is more secluded in the bush, while rooms 3 and above face the lake.

Meals are served in the open-air dining area or at the boma (BBQ) every second night. Breakfast offers hot and cold options; lunch and dinner have changing menus with 2-3 starters and mains. Chef Margaret and the culinary team prepare fresh dishes including gluten-free options. A butler is assigned to each guest for meal service. Coffee and sundowner stops are included on game drives.

Simbavati Hilltop Lodge is inside the Timbavati Game Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger National Park. The unfenced property allows animals to roam freely. The drive from Hoedspruit airport takes about 45 minutes. Airport shuttle is available at an extra cost. Free parking is on site.
