Umlani Bushcamp - Premium Stays in Timbavati Game Reserve

Guests sleep in traditional reed and thatch huts built using local Shangaan tribal architecture. Each hut includes an en suite bathroom with an open-air shower, mosquito netting over the bed, and crisp white linens. Candle lanterns provide evening light. Rooms have solar-powered electricity and a fan.

Pre-dinner drinks are served each evening around the fire in the traditional boma. Dinner is then served in the candlelit dining room or out in the open riverbed on a table surrounded by lanterns. Breakfast features fresh fruit, yogurt, and a cooked option like eggs or pancakes. Special diet menus are available, and fruit is offered throughout the day.

Umlani's rangers take guests on daily game drives in open Land Rovers. Guests can also enjoy guided bush walks with experienced trackers. Umlani Bushcamp is located in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger National Park. Nelspruit Airport is a 2.5-hour drive from the camp. The camp is unfenced, allowing wildlife to roam through the property. The reserve is open to Kruger and offers access to diverse game viewing.
