The lodge sits on the N11 national road between Middelburg and Groblersdal, surrounded by rocky gorges and bushveld. Loskop Dam is 9 km away, and Loskop Dam Nature Reserve is 14 km away. Johannesburg and Pretoria are about 2.5-3 hours drive via the N4 and N11.
