Pungwe Safari Camp - Premium Stays in Manyeleti Game Reserve

Accommodation is in double or twin tents with a private bathroom, including a shower, toilet, and sink. Some units have a seating area and patio. Hot water is provided either by a gas unit or a traditional donkey boiler. There is no electricity in the tents; lighting comes from solar lanterns. Beds are made each night with a hot water bottle. Mosquito nets are sometimes provided. A safe in the main area allows charging of phones and camera batteries.

Guides Never, Isaac, and Wonderboy are experienced at tracking animals and positioning the vehicle for good views. The Manyeleti Game Reserve has a high density of wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, and wild dogs. Animals often walk through the unfenced camp. An outdoor fireplace and outdoor furniture are available for relaxation.

Pungwe Safari Camp is set in the Manyeleti Game Reserve, 4.3 km from a waterhole. The camp is unfenced, offering direct contact with the bush. Hoedspruit Airport is an 85-minute drive away. Skukuza Airport is 34 km in a straight line but takes about 3 hours to reach by road. The nearest main road is 27 km away. No wifi is available, and there is no electricity grid - the camp runs on solar power.
